4th of July

Post July 4th Observations

This year’s July 4th preparations were the busiest I’ve had in a long time. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Chelmsford Dog Association tent at the Country Fair, and thanks to the volunteers that staffed it. The early morning rain cooled the pavement enough that we were able to have Violet (a lab-whippet mix) and Minnie (a pitbull/boxer mix) walk with us this year. Lucy (a rottweiler) decided it was a better idea to hang out in the back seat of Lee & Rosie Marchand’s Cadillac.

Chelmsford Country Fair

Well, we had a good night down in Chelmsford Center tonight!
There was nice weather, lots of people and lots of dogs.

We’ll be back there tomorrow morning (July 4th) and some of us will be walking in the parade as well.

So come on by the booth if you have any questions about the Chelmsford Dog Association, our plans for the dog park or you just want to stop by and say hi.

Fourth of July Parade!

As usual, the CDA will be represented, walking in the parade. As we walk, we’ll be passing out dog chew/treats to anyone along the parade route who has a dog with them, or lets us know they have a furry friend waiting at home, who would enjoy one of the chew treats.

Additionally, this year, we’ll be setting up a booth at the country fair in Chelmsford Center. Come visit us on July 3rd and 4th at our tent, which will be located at the corner of Westford Street and Academy Avenue.
