MailChimp

 

We use MailChimp to manage our newsletter and other email lists. The only information we may collect is the one you personally provide when you subscribe to our newsletter, such as your email address and name. We do not require you to submit your full name or mailing address to sign up to our newsletter, only your first name and email address. You can easily unsubscribe from our newsletter from the link at the bottom of the emails. We will not publish or transmit your email or personal information to any corporation. There’s no third-party tracking in messages we send through MailChimp besides MailChimp’s own analytics, which may aggregate how many subscribers open a message or click the links inside. We use social media networks like Facebook to engage the community in dialogue. As a public forum, you accept that the Billerica Dog Park retains the right to edit, moderate, and reuse any posts or comments for other purposes, at our discretion. COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)

 

When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, United States’ consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children’s privacy and safety online.

We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.
