We have opened an online store!
Using Printful (on demand printed merchandise) and our Square account, we have arranged for CDA and CDP “merch” to be purchased online and delivered right to your door! Now you don’t have to wait for a CDA event to get that Chelmsford Dog Park T-shirt, or worry about us being sold out of the size or color that you want.
We are planning a work-party to do autumn cleanup and pre-winter maintenance on the park – On Saturday, October 2, from 8am till 12pm.
The park will be CLOSED for normal usage during this work-party, but volunteers can bring their dogs to hang out in the training area while we humans make the park nice for them (and us).
The CDA is hosting a PetCPR+ Certification course from Pet Emergency Education on September 18, 2021 [Rescheduled date!!] at the Chelmsford Community Center at North Town Hall!
Registration is $69.95 and many of the class spots are already filled so book soon to get your spot in the remaining space!
The brick order last year was delayed because of the pandemic, and then the early snow and odd winter weather — and then continued weather patterns into the spring — delayed the installation. However, the bricks are now installed! Many thanks to Matt Kohl for doing the brick laying.
The CDA is working on adding additional, permanent benches to the park! Each bench costs $1200 and people can sponsor an entire bench or contribute a smaller amount which will be pooled together for benches.
Spring is here and it’s the best time for hiking.
I recommend the Lowell/Dracut/Tyngsboro State Forest, a beautiful spot to hike for people of all abilities. Well-behaved dogs are allowed off leash here. This is a massive place, so take care if you decide to let your dog explore off leash
Calling all dog enthusiasts! Would you like to help support and educate the local community of dog owners? Join the Chelmsford Dog Association.
The CDA needs volunteers to help dig, plant, and fill in new trees at the Chelmsford Dog Park on April 30, starting at 9am and any time until 4pm.
