Dog Park Flag Contest

The Chelmsford Dog Association is looking for a young, local artist to design a logo for the Chelmsford Dog Park flag! In the spring, we will have flag poles with the US flag and the Massachusetts state flag flying at the Chelmsford Dog Park. We will also have a third flag pole that will be empty. We want to put up a Chelmsford Dog Park flag - but we don't have a design for that flag yet. YOU can help us by designing a flag for us! There will be a prize for the 1st place and runner-up selections.

Amazon Smile

As the holiday season ramps up and we start our frantic shopping sprees. think about the CDA for a moment! If you shop on Amazon, you can help us (and the park)! AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon with the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charitable organization of your choice.

A Dog’s Eye View: You Ate What???

I created an online survey where people told me the strangest things their dog has eaten and not make himself (or herself) sick. The following list has me convinced me we are all surrounded by Bad Dogs to such a degree, that when my major policy renewal season is over at the insurance agency, I may just start petitioning the State Legislature to make Chronic Bad Dog Syndrome (CBDS) an ailment worthy of allowing me to obtain an ADA placard for my car, and maybe install some sirens and flashing lights. Simply because when I need to get to the emergency vet, I need to get in there RIGHT NOW, and really, really need the closest parking space in order to minimize distance to their front door.
