The Chelmsford Dog Association is pleased to announce the first presentation in what we hope will be a continuing series of educational speakers!
Join us with Marjie Alonso, Executive Director of IAABC and Lisa McEvoy- BS, KPA CTP, a trainer from The Pet Republic Dog Training for a presentation and a discussion on dog behavior and body language, with a focus on, but not restricted to, dogs at the dog park.
Date: Monday, April 22
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM (Doors will open at 6:00 PM)
Place: Community Room, Chelmsford Police Department, 2 Olde North Road
Videos requested. Marjie has asked people who are interested in participating in the discussion to take a short video of dogs (yours or others), especially at the park – so we can discuss the body language of the dogs and what message they are communicating with their body language. Videos should be under 2 minutes, filmed in landscape mode, and uploaded to our Google Drive or uploaded to your own YouTube account and shared to the CDA Behavior Playlist .
Attendance is free, although we do request a donation to cover the costs of the event. Any donation in excess of the costs will, as always, be rolled back into the park improvement funds.
We will also be live-streaming the event – watch for details.
Questions? Please contact the Chelmsford Dog Association at cda@chelmsforddogassociation.org. See you there!
