Our November meeting is our annual meeting. The meeting will be held at the function room of the Chelmsford Police Department on Thursday, November 29 and will begin at 6:30PM. Votes will be cast immediately following the opening agenda items and any current member of the Chelmsford Dog Association may cast a vote. Elected directors will take office starting January 1 and the new board will vote to appoint the officers at the January meeting. In addition to voting for the open positions, as always the CDA will also be reviewing the status of the organization, plans for the upcoming year and the current bylaws. We will hold discussion on suggestions for amendments and/or modifications to the bylaws if desired.

Water OFF at the Park

Hey folks, it's that time of year again. The temperatures are dropping and the grass is going dormant. Water at the park has been turned off for the season. So, remember to bring some water for your pups, and remember to recycle the plastic in the blue bin, just next to the kiosk.

Winter Prep Work Party

DATE CHANGE! Original plans postponed - new date is December 8 We are planning a work-party to do autumn cleanup and pre-winter maintenance on the park – On Saturday, December 8, from 8 till 12. (The work party will happen in any weather less than a downpour.) Please respond on the volunteer page or contact Will via email or on Facebook if you are interested in helping. (Do note, this does qualify as volunteer hours for high school students and the requirements for the National Honor Society.) The park will be CLOSED for normal usage during this work-party, but volunteers can bring their dogs to hang out in the training area while we humans make the park nice for them (and us).

Howl’ween Thanks!

A HUGE thanks to all who made their way to and through the park for the event today!! Despite a rainy day, we had a successful Howl'ween event. People showed up with dogs (and themselves) in costume. Vendors set up their tents. Food was made and enjoyed, raffles and auctions were won and Prizes were handed out.
