At the Board meeting on Wednesday, the Board of Directors of the Chelmsford Dog Association officially opened nominations for the three board positions which are open this year. Nominations will remain open until closed at the October meeting of the board, at which time the list of nominees will be recognized.
Nominations may be presented, in writing, by submitting a letter stating your interest in a position on the board of directors with at least two signatures of current CDA members. According to the CDA Bylaws, the following are the requirements to hold a position on the Board of Directors:
All Board members shall have been members, in good standing, for at least one year prior to their nomination.
• A member in good standing shall be defined as a member who is current on dues, has no legal restrictions barring the appointment, has attended at least four (4) meetings of the organization in the past 12 months and has volunteered or otherwise actively participated in at least two (2) events run by or attended by the organization in the past 12 months

Voting will be held at the annual meeting of the Chelmsford Dog Association, on November 29, 2017 starting at 6:30 in the Chelmsford Police Department Community Room.
