It has been rescheduled for THIS Sunday, October 21.

Due to last week’s rain, Howl’ween is this Sunday (10-21)! Come to the Parlee Corn Maze field at the end of Pine Hill Rd, by Galloway Rd between 11AM-3PM for good eats, silent auctions, kids’ coloring contest, lots of vendors and even more costumed doggies! Sponsored by the Chelmsford Dog Association. Raising funds to build a dog park.

Due to the inclement weather (raining like cats and dogs), we have postponed the Howl’ween event which was supposed to be held today.

As planned the rain-date is 10/21 (next Sunday). Same place (Parlee’s corn maze), same time (11:00 start), new day (Sunday, 10/21)

Hope to see you all there when it is a little drier than today is!

On Saturday, September 29, the Chelmsford Dog Association will have booths set up at both the Chelmsford Common Day (on Chelmsford Center Common) and at the Walk ‘n’ Wag All Breed Dog Walk (at the 4-H Fairgrounds in Westford)

Come meet some of our members on the Chelmsford Common! We’ll have information on the CDA, the plans for the dog park and upcoming events for people and their dogs…

Or come to the 4-H fairgrounds for the 12th annual Walk ‘n’ Wag All Breed Dog Walk Fund Raiser which is sponsored by German Shepherd Rescue of New England. We’ll have people there too – selling hot dogs, hamburgers and other goodies.

Or maybe, split your time and come see us in both places!

The Chelmsford Dog Association will be at the 12th annual Walk ‘n’ Wag All Bred Dog Walk Fund Raiser which is sponsored by German Shepherd Rescue of New England.

This event helps support our wonderful German Shepherd dogs and will help animal lovers learn about your group/products and services. Rescue groups and vendors reserve space for Free, however, donations are always appreciated. The picnic grounds are spacious so there’s plenty of room for everyone to display their products and services to the many participants at the event.

The Lowell Humane Society is excited to announce our 4th Annual 2012 STEPS FOR PETS event! This fundraiser walk will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2012 from noon-3pm at the Sampas Pavilion in Lowell, along the historic Merrimack River. The event includes a mile-long stroll along the river, doggie costume contests, K9 and dog agility demos, a vendor fair and more! Steps for Pets promises to be a fun-filled family event.

Reach out to friends, family and co-workers to support you in this walk for animals by pledging to donate or even joining your team! You don’t need a dog to walk in this event!

Our top fundraiser will win an extra special prize: a photo of their dog will be featured on all posters and brochures for the 2013 STEPS FOR PETS event next year!
